Freshman righthander Cole Gordon looked outstanding in his 3-inning outing, giving up no runs on 0 hits and 1 walk to go along with his 5 Ks. His velo was 86-87, topping out at 89. It appears that he has added a couple of miles per hour to his fastball since the fall.

The Bulldogs play three games this weekend, Friday at 3:45 pm and Saturday and Sunday at 1 pm.
