Keshon Heard is one of the top prospects in north Mississippi. Known as a speed merchant who can run away from defenders in the open field, Heard is a name on the rise. With an offer from Mississippi State in hand, Heard is becoming a name to remember. See what Heard brings to the table in this GPTV video presentation.

Keshon Heard is an explosive football player who could play any number of positions. As a junior, he played at running back, corner and safety. On the college level, Heard will likely get his first looks at free safety.

In the attached highlight reel, fans can see Heard's foot speed and his ability to make people miss. Heard has earned a spot in the state track meet in the 100 meters each of his three seasons at Hamilton, winning the 1A state title in 2014.

With his speed and skill set, Heard can defend the deep third as a safety. He has the speed and vision to erase mistakes made by other members of the defense. On offense, Heard could line up out wide and simply run by defenders on the deep ball.

Heading into the spring, Heard hopes to play defense on the next level citing his desire to hit rather than be hit. He is a versatile player with the raw materials to be a real difference maker on the next level.

While many other players will garner more recognition, Heard is a hidden gem buried in an under recruited area in one of Mississippi's lower classifications. Despite his small town upbringing, Heard has big time talent.
