Rosebowl & The Editor On Football Camp Season

Things have slowed down for Bulldog sports. Just not for Bulldog coaches. Or for prospective Bulldog players, particularly football as the cycle of independent combines and official Mississippi State camps speed the summer up.

Steve Robertson is having a mighty fast-paced week of his own. He's conducting combine events in both Brookhaven and Tupelo, with another event set for Canton. In today's video, he explains what these events mean for high school athletes with a mind to raise their recruiting profile.

Also, Robertson discusses the increased profile and impact that Coach Dan Mullen's own official on-campus events have meant to building Bulldog football. As we talk about, it really is a win/win for everyone. Mississippi State coaches get to observe prep stars directly, whether prime rated prospects or equally lots of under-evaluated talents who just need to be seen.

On top of this the players can measure themselves against more equal peers than most high school games will allow. They will exit Scott Field with a better idea what they can do to win more games as prep seniors...and prepare themselves to return to this stadium someday soon in college uniforms.
