"I think I performed pretty well," Bridges said after the day's events. "I did my best to learn from what Coach (Diaz) had taught me and I just tried to put all of that to work out there today. I did my best to do everything he wanted us to do in the drills."
Having the chance to work under the direction of the Bulldogs' defensive coordinator appears to have been one of the better part of the event for the Alabama native.
"Coach Diaz is a good coach," Bridges said. "He really gets straight to it. He will just tell you when you are right and when you are wrong. That's really want I like to see in a coach."
Several schools have shown a solid level of interest in the Opelika High School product with a handful extending a scholarship offer.
"I have offers from Kentucky, Indiana, Cincinnati, Memphis, South (Alabama) and Troy," Bridges said. "I think I am getting closer and closer to an offer from Mississippi State. They have been talking to me. I will just have to see what happens in time."
Bridges reports that he is not planning to make an emotional decision, but that an offer from the Bulldogs would be extremely well received.
"If Mississippi State offers me, I will feel like my recruitment is on the right path," Bridges said. "I feel like I can play in the SEC and getting an offer from them would help show that.
"I am still thinking about everything and I am not sure when I am going to decide. I am in no rush to really do anything."
