He came away impressed with Mississippi State offensive line coach John Hevesy.
"He is a really great coach," said Adams. "I learned a lot, worked on my technique. I worked on my pass blocking and footwork. He said my run blocking was really good but that I needed to work on my pass blocking."
He explained how he wound up at the Mississippi State camp.
"Coach Hevesy invited me to their camp," said Adams, who claims 17 offers. "He is recruiting me for Mississippi State. I came down to this camp for an evaluation. I would say that he was pleased with what he saw, but I can't say for sure."
His camp experience at Mississippi State made a positive impression on him.
"Of all the teams recruiting me that I don't have an offer from, they are the one that I like the most," said Adams. "I like their facilities, the coaches, everyone here."
As of now, one team leads all the other teams recruiting him.
"Right now, I would say that Marshall is ahead," said Adams. "I like their coaches, their players, their facilities."
