"I really liked that the camp showed us how to change speeds,:" said Ford. "It was a good eye-opener about what college football will be like."
He felt like he had a good camp showing.
"I think I did pretty good," said Ford. "My footwork was good because I have been working on it. I still think I can improve my footwork by stop slipping a little bit more."
He enjoyed being coached by Mississippi State wide receivers coach Billy Gonzales
"He is a great coach," said Ford. "He keeps the energy going and he teaches you. If you aren't sure how to do it, he teaches you how to do it."
Ford knows quite a bit about Mississippi State because his brother played football at Mississippi State.
"My brother, Wayne Madkin, played here," said Ford. "He tells me that it is a great college."
Ford has strong feelings about Mississippi State.
"I would love to come to Mississippi State,":said Ford. "It is a nice campus, love the atmosphere. And they had a great season last year and I expect them to have one this year."
Ford has been to several camps with many more on the horizon.
"I have already been to camps at Middle Tennessee State and Troy," he said. "And I plan on going to Auburn, Georgia, Georgia State, UT-Martin, USA, Southern Miss, JSU, UT-Chattanooga and Wake Forest."
All of the above schools are showing interest with one having offered a scholarship.
"I have an offer from UT-Martin, and all the other schools that I named are interested in me," said Ford.
