"I liked the footwork drills, drills that we normally don't do at home," said Garrett. "We did some hand-eye coordination stuff that allowed us to dominate DBs today."
This was the first time for Garrett to visit the Mississippi State campus.
"This is the first time to come to Mississippi State," said Garrett. "I liked (Mississippi State wide receivers (Coach (Billy) Gonzales. He's a really good coach. He teaches you a lot of stuff that you can work on."
He liked what he saw from Mississippi State while camping there.
"It is a really good school," said Garrett. "It is big, the SEC. They have a good weight room. I think I would fit in well here."
Garrett has numerous other camps that he plans on attending this summer.
"I am going to Auburn's camp, South Alabama, UT-Martin, UT-Chattanooga and Wake Forest," said Garrett. "I'm also going to Tennessee State, although it's not a camp. I'm going to there to talk to the coaches."
He has interest from several colleges.
"I believe the ones showing the most interest are Louisville, Tennessee State, UT-Martin, UT-Chattanooga and, hopefully, Mississippi State," said Garrett.
