"It was a good camp," said Raborn. "I was here for both days. Yesterday was more like a training day and today was more of the competitiveness side of things and trying to earn a scholarship."
That competitiveness side including kicking in front of Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen at the end of the camp with the four other top kickers who participated in the camp.
"(Kicking in front of Coach Mullen) was a privilege and it shows me that my hard work is paying off," said Raborn. "And hopefully, it will end up with a scholarship one day."
He already has one scholarship with several other colleges showing strong interest in him.
"I have an offer from Northwestern State," said Raborn. "Mississippi State, LSU, Georgia, Kentucky and Clemson are also recruiting me. Georgia is a possibility (offer-wise). They told me that I already have a preferred walk-on opportunity. They said by August 1st they would let me know what happens."
He has attended camps at several of the colleges that are recruiting him.
"I went to a camp at Georgia last week and I went to Alabama a few days ago," said Raborn. "I go to Clemson later in the week, then to LSU, then to Wisconsin. I feel like I have done well at the camps."
