"It was a great camp and I got to compete against a bunch of great guys," Dantzler said. "I feel like that I showed that I can compete with some of the top players in the nation. I learned a lot today and I really enjoyed it."
Dantzler spent a lot of time working under the direction of Mississippi State corners coach Deshea Townsend. The rising senior looked at this opportunity as a chance to sharpen his skills rather than just audition for a scholarship spot.
"When I came back on June 2nd, I got offered," Dantzler said. "This time Coach Townsend told me that I had improved. He said that I looked bigger, faster and stronger. He told me that I was quick on my feet and that I looked quick laterally. I wanted to come out here today and do even better than I did last time."
The rising senior reports that he is solid with Mississippi State, but he will be on a few other college campuses before fall practices begin.
