  • What are your thoughts about the camp?
"This is the first camp that I have been able to participate in. It was great competition. Going against a great defensive lineman like (class of 2016 Noxubee County) Jeffery Simmons helped me get better. We just worked and got better. It wasn't just me but the entire offensive line and defense line."

What do you take from going against a talented player like Simmons?
"After he got me the first time I kept on sliding back and learned as I go. Right now (West Point High School) is a running team. Having a great coach like (Missisippi State offensive line) Coach (John) Hevesy teaching me, he taught me a lot during the time I spent with him. I felt I got better but at the same time I know I have a lot to improve."

Overall, what are your impressions of Mississippi State?
"I like Mississippi State a whole lot."

What other camps do you plan on attending?
"I go to Auburn on the 21st (of July). And next weekend I am supposed to go to Georgia Tech."
