Why did you decide to attend the Mississippi State camp?
"Usually, I come because it is a fun place to play. Plus, I want to impress the coaches as much as possible by showing them what I can do. It is everybody's dream to play Division-I baseball, so I come to these camps to try and get some exposure."
Have you ever been to Mississippi State before?
"This is the first time that I have been to a camp here. I have played in a couple of games here before."
What other camps have you attended?
"I went to Ole Miss last weekend and had a good time there. It is nice. I have also gone to the Southeastern Louisiana camp. This camp, the Ole Miss and Southeastern Louisiana camps are the only camps that I have been to. I may be going to a showcase at the University of Lafayette."
As far as your overall game is concerned, what are your strengths and what are some things that you are still working on?
"I definitely have to work on my speed. I guess my strengths are my arm-strength and my power."
What colleges are showing interest in you?
"A lot of jucos around my area have shown interest in me. Ole Miss has shown some interest, too. And definitely Mississippi State. I have talked to Coach (Butch) Thompson a couple of times."
What are your thoughts about Ole Miss and Mississippi State?
"I really like State. It is a good atmosphere for baseball. And Ole Miss, I like it up there, too. Honestly, whichever one that I receive the best scholarship (offer) from is probably the one that I will choose. But I like both of them. They are both good places with good atmosphere."
