"I had a great time at Mississippi State," Sullivan said. "It was great. That's the best thing I can say about it, great."
The Bulldogs had one of their talented freshmen show Sullivan around during the weekend's activities.
"Justin Johnson was my guy and he showed me a good time," Sullivan said. "I didn't really know him that well, but he didn't treat me like that. He made me feel at home. They have a real family type vibe up there at Mississippi State.
"Justin treated me like family. All of the players and coaches made me feel like it was one big family up there. I really liked that."
If the Bulldog players and coaches were the immediate family, Sullivan got to meet the extended family when Mississippi State hosted Alabama on Saturday afternoon.
"The atmosphere was great," Sullivan said. "The fans are crazy and I wasn't really expecting it to be like that. The fans showed me a good time and they showed me how much they support the team. It was a really a lot of fun going to the game even though they lost. It was a great experience."
Before heading home, Sullivan was able to speak with the Mississippi State coaches about their plans for him should he enroll there. It appears that the Bulldogs have taken a step forward in their pursuit of the Scout National 300 member.
"I will definitely be considering Mississippi State," Sullivan said. "I really enjoyed the visit and I liked all of the players and coaches. It was really a great weekend."
Sullivan has two other visits scheduled, but he may be able to get in one more before making his final decision late next month.
"I am going to TCU next weekend and then I am going to LSU sometime in December," Sullivan said. "I am probably going to get out to Texas and take a visit there too, but I am not sure when yet.
"I am not going to make my decision until after I have taken all of these visits. I am going to take my visits and then think about which place is the best place for me. I want to have my decision made before Christmas though.
"I know Mississippi State is going to be in there and I am going to wait and see how these visits go to see who all else is going to be in there. I am just trying to keep an open mind about everything right now."
