MBA Hoops head coach Omhar Carter talks about Kenneth Nwuba

GPTV: MBA Hoops head coach Omhar Carter talks one-on-one with Gene's Page about a player on his AAU team, class of 2018 center/forward Kenneth Nwuba. Nwuba is currently playing for one of the top prep schools in the country, Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of WIlson, VA).

What kind of player is Kenneth Nwuba?
"Kenneth is 6-foot-10, versatile, a 4/5 who can put it on the floor, extremely athletic, jumps out of the gym, can block shots, rebounding with the best of them and he's developing his permimeter game more and more. This was a great time for him to come to Oak Hill because he is actually learning from playing against (Scout.com's No. 1 player in the 2016 class) Harry Giles. He has been learning from him and that has been a great experience. Now he sees what he is supposed to be."

How you seen him play since he has been playing against Harry Giles? And if you have what improvements have you seen?
"I've seen some video that they have sent me and have seen some things that he does. He has gotten bigger. He has gotten a better understanding of the game, when to use things that he has in his toolbox. And he is steadily growing. So, it is going to be a good situation for him."

I guess he is being highly recruited considering his size and athlectic ability?
"Yes, he is drawing interest from a lot of schools, Mississippi State, LSU, various schools from the ACC, Big Ten, PAC-12, He has a lot of offers. It would be a long list to name."

Considering he is just a sophomore, he received the offers pretty early. When did he start receiving them?
"He started on the (AAU) circuit for us last year and held it down. He was getting at least three to five blocks per game, finishing well around the rim. He is going to be a tough cookie to deal with."
