One-On-One With Kenneth Nwuba

GPTV: Gene's Page talked one-on-one with class of 2018 center/forward Kenneth Nwuba, one of the top big men in his class. Nwuba is currently playing for one of the top prep schools in the country, Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of WIlson, VA).

You are 6-foot-10, 210. What are your strengths as a basketball player?
"My strengths are that I am a good defensive player. I block shots, I rebound and I run the floor. I am very good at it."

What are some things that you are keying on, things that you are really working on?
"I am working on my jumper. I am working on my dribbling, my footwork. And that is it."

You are here at Oak Hill Academy, and one of the players that is on your team is Mario Kegler. He also plays with you on your AAU team, MBA Hoops. How much has it helped with your transition to this school to also have him here?
"It has meant a lot to be by his side so much. He is like a brother to me, an older brother."
