All-SEC Quarterback Begins Campus Practices Coaching Up Younger Dogs

Yes, he's done this December drill before. But for his fifth and final bowl camp Dak Prescott's routine has changed. "I'm not taking the majority of the reps," said Mississippi State's All-SEC quarterback. "I'm right there with the coaches, teaching the younger guys and making sure they're getting better."

It's a position Prescott has surely earned. And since Coach Dan Mullen's approach to these early days of Belk Bowl camp are about developing the younger portions of the 2016 roster, there is a job for Prescott to perform. He is coaching the three underclassmen quarterbacks during drills; junior Damian Williams, redshirt freshman Nick Fitzgerald, and true freshman Nick Tiano.

The quarterback corps is short one player as redshirt freshman Elijah Staley was with Bulldog basketball in Kansas City about the time football was getting into 11-on-11 drills Friday.

After his easy day as a mentor, Prescott met with media.
