At the Byron De'Vinner Combine, Minter measured in at 6-foot-4 and 200 pounds while running a 4.7 forty and a 4.1 20-yard shuttle. He also showed solid hands in the one-on-one drill.
Several college coaches are already showing interest in the talented receiver.
"Colleges that are currently showing interest in me are Florida, Jacksonville State and Bama," said Minter.
In addition to the schools already showing interest in him, he's also setting up visits or camps at a few others that he has interest in.
"I have (unofficially) visited Bama and Florida and I had planned on going to Jacksonville but we had football practice that day," said Minter. "I also want to visit LSU and Mississippi State. I will probably go to camps at Alabama, Florida and Ole Miss."
His interest in Mississippi State is partly due to a player that coaches sometime compare him to, junior wideout De'Runnya Wilson of Mississippi State.
"People compare Bear and me," said Minter. "I go to Parker High and he went to (nearby) Wenonah. We know each other. I look up to him. That is my role model"
He even plays the same type game at receiver as Wilson does.
"College coaches like that I am physical off the line and that I block down the field, can catch the ball in traffic," said Minter. "I do most everything that a good route receiver does."
