Class of 2017 WR/CB William Langham Update

McAdory (AL) HIgh School class of 2017 wide receiver/cornerback William Langham has the kind of talent college coaches are looking for.

"College coaches have told me that they like that I am physical, instinctive on the field and have good size," said the 6-foot-1, 200-pounder.

He is receiving recruiting interest from several colleges, including a couple from the Southeastern Conference.

"I don't have any offers yet but I'm receiving interest from Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Purdue, Jacksonville State, Middle Tennessee State and Georgia," said Langham.

One SEC school has been giving him a lot of attention.

"Mississippi State is showing a lot of interest in me," said Langham. "They send me mail every day. And I talk to (MSU assistant) Coach (Billy) Gonzales all the time. We have a good relationship. He is real cool. When I camped down there I had a pretty good camp and we built a relationship during the camp. And Daryl Williams, who goes to Mississippi State, says that Coach Gonzales talks about me all the time."

Langham has already visited several schools and has plans on visiting more during the February Junior Days.

"I have visited Georgia, Jacksonville State and Mississippi State during the football season," said Langham. "I also hope to go to Junior Days at Mississippi State, Georgia and Jacksonville State. I went to Jacksonville State's last year. And I will probably go to Bama again."

He already has a good idea what he is looking for in a college.

"I am looking for a good family environment, good academics and a school that will get you in the league (NFL)," said Langham.
