4-star WR Desmond Fitzpatrick Adds Mississippi State Offer, Sets Visit

Waterford (Mich.) Mott senior Desmond Fitzpatrick, the nation's No. 36 wide receiver, picked up a new offer on Sunday night and quickly set a visit.

After recently bringing former Mississippi high school star Terrell Buckley back home to be on staff at Mississippi State, the Bulldogs are now going after one of his top targets from his time at Louisville, Waterford Mott four-star wide receiver Desmond Fitzpatrick.

Buckley served as primary recruiter for Fitzpatrick, who was committed to Louisville for several months before re-opening his recruitment late in November.

He has since added several new offers and taken official visits to Nebraska and Indiana. He still has official visits planned for Syracuse (1/22) and Louisville (1/29), but has quickly added the Bulldogs to his list to round out his five.

"I will be visiting them this weekend," he reported to Scout.

Fitzpatrick was named offensive player of the year in Michigan by some media outlets. He caught 60 passes for 1,317 yards and 23 touchdowns as a senior.
