"Mississippi State has been with me since the beginning," Jeremiah Moon said. "They were the first ones to offer me, so it's only right that I take a visit to see them here at the end."
Moon has visited Starkville several times as a game day visitor and a summer camp participant. This weekend's official visit will provide Moon the chance to meet new Bulldog linebackers coach Peter Sirmon who was recently hired after a stint at USC.
The three star backer reports that his relationship with the Mississippi State staff has always been a very good one and that he is eager to get to know the newly hired staff members.
"Mississippi State believed in me first and I like all of the coaches over there," Moon said. "I have been over there a lot, so I sort of know what to expect. I have always had a good time over there. We will just have to see how things go this weekend."
The Gators of Florida stopped in to see Moon today, with Head coach Jim McElwain in tow. Moon reports that the in person visit was a very positive experience.
"We made him dinner," Moon said. "It was a good time. We talked about everything and about what to expect when I get down there. Everything about the visit was great."
Despite Moon enjoying an all expense excursion at Mississippi State set to begin on Friday, it appears that Florida fans may be able to rest easy even with their talented verbal spending the weekend on another team's campus.
"I am still 100% committed to Florida," Moon said. "I told Mississippi State back when I committed that I would still take a visit there and I wanted to keep my word to them. We'll see what happens, but I still plan on signing with Florida."
Moon reports that he will visit Starkville this weekend and trip to Gainesville the last weekend before signing day. The personable Moon reports that he has no plans to visit any school next weekend and that the trips to see the Bulldogs and Gators are the only ones he expects to take.
