"Excited to say I'm committed to play baseball at Mississippi State University," wrote Denson on his twitter account.
Denson dream came through after camping at Mississippi State last Saturday.
"I came to (the Mississippi State) camp because I wanted to go to Mississippi State and Ole Miss," said Denson. "(Both) Mississippi State and Ole Miss are showing interest in me. And I am interested in both of those schools because they are closed to my home."
Denson came away impressed with all that he saw and learned at the State camp.
"What I learned from the camp is everything from different grips to different pitches, different workouts and exercises, mechanics, really everything," he said.
He also came away impressed with new Bulldog pitching coach Wes Johnson.
"Coach Johnson is awesome," said Denson. "I love his energy. He was hands-on. I really like coaches that are involved like that."
Denson plays travel ball with East Coast Baseball. Denson feels that being coached by former Major League Baseball pitch Eric DuBose and playing for such a well-known organization helped him earn looks from programs like Mississippi State.
"Playing for such a high level organization gets you more looks (from colleges and pro scouts)" said Denson. "And getting to work with (DuBose) everyday helped me due tall of the knowledge that he has."
