"I am going to do it around 2:15 tomorrow," Stewart Reese said. "I am going to do it at the school."
Reese took a pair of official visits late in the process, Mississippi State and Syracuse. Reese, a man of few words, reports that the Bulldogs and Orange are his two finalists. He took some time to recap his visit to Starkville.
"It was a good visit," Reese said. "Martinas Rankin was my host. He did a good job and he told me about everything. He showed me around."
The courtship between the Bulldogs and Reese has been a bit of a whirlwind. One of the big selling points for Mississippi State has been offensive line coach, John Hevesy.
"I like Coach Hevesy," Reese said. "He seems like a good coach. You can tell he knows what he is doing."
Reese was a long time lean to Florida State, but in the end the parties agreed to part on good terms without a national letter of intent between them. Over a score of programs including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss and others extended offers over the course of the recruiting process.
With signing day now just over two days away, the final two are Mississippi State and Syracuse. Reese enjoyed his time at Syracuse the weekend of January 15th and Starkville the weekend of January 22nd.
In recent days, Reese has been able to break the tie and make a decision that he feels at peace with.
"I have already made my decision." Reese said. "I am just waiting to announce it tomorrow at the school. I am happy with my decision.
"I feel like I am going to a great school and a great program. I am happy to have all of this settled."
