Mississippi State head baseball coach John Cohen and his team gutted out an important win over Georgia 3-1.

Mississippi State went hitless for six innings and found themselves down 1-0 as they came to bat in the bottom of the seventh. An infield single broke up the no hitter and from there the Bulldog pieced together a two run inning to take the lead, 2-1. Bulldog reliever Ryan Rigby threw three innings of impressive work to earn the win as State runs their SEC record to 4-1. The Bulldogs will be going for the sweep of Georgia tomorrow.
