Former Mississippi State corner Taveze Calhoun talks about what it takes to play at Mississippi State and beyond.

Former, yes, former, Mississippi State corner Taveze Calhoun is working hard and preparing to hear his name called in the upcoming NFL draft. While there will finally be a paycheck involved, even the pro draft is a glorified version of picking teams. The playgrounds and crowds are much bigger, but for Morton, Mississippi product Calhoun it's the chance to fulfill a lifelong dream of playing the sport he loves at the highest level.

Taveze Calhoun became a fan favorite at Mississippi State due to his junkyard dog mentality and undeniable work ethic. With his college career now a memory, Calhoun is eager to make more on and off of the gridiron.

We caught up with Calhoun following a Bulldog spring practice session where for the first time in a long time another player wore number #23.
