Mississippi State first baseman Nathaniel Lowe discusses his three hit night that included a 1st inning grand slam.

Mississippi State picked up a much needed road win Friday night, 12-8 over LSU at Alex Box Stadium. Bulldog hitters pounded out 13 hits, but the big blow came early as first baseman Nathaniel Lowe took the first pitch he saw from LSU left hander Jared Poche over the right field fence. While the Tigers would battle back to tie, the Bulldogs answered twice and secured game one of this pivotal SEC series. Lowe met with the media following the affair and #36 was all smiles.
