Mississippi State hit a pair of home runs as part of a 19 hit night as the Bulldogs knock off Missouri 8-2.

Mississippi State pounded out a season high 19 hits in an 8-2 win over Missouri in game one of the three game series. Bulldog junior right hander Dakota Hudson matched a career high with 11 strikeouts as he cruised to the victory. Bulldog first baseman Nathaniel Lowe became the first Bulldog to have five hits in a game this season. Coach John Cohen discussed his team's play with the media following the the big win.
