"It was a tough decision but with the help of a couple of close friends and peers I've finally decided to make my commitment. I am verbally committing to the University of Mississippi State," said Hill on twitter.
Although he is committed to Mississippi State, he left the door to his recruitment open.
"Even though I will be committing to a team I will allow other teams, even the teams that have offered me, to continue to recruit me because signing day is a long way from now and you never know what might happen," said the 5-10-5, 205-pound Hill.
Hill is rated the 101st best player in the nation in his class by Scout and the 10th best running back.
He chose Mississippi State over offers from Nebraska, Memphis, Ole Miss, Missouri, Oregon State, Tennessee and UAB.
