Louisville High School class of 2017 defensive back Isaiah Latham talks about his camp experience at Mississippi State

Louisville (MS) High School class of 2017 defensive back Isaiah Latham talks about his camp experience at Mississippi State.

Latham explained why he decided to camp at Mississippi State.

"(My recruiting coach) Coach (Brian) Baker told me to come to the camp because they wanted to see me play at their camp," said Latham.

He enjoyed his time at the camp.

"I liked the camp because I learned some new stuff that I will take home and work on," said Latham.

He was impressed with the Mississippi State defensive back coaches.

"I liked how they trained us and walked us through the techniques," said Latham.

He has attended one other college camp this summer.

" I also went to the Michigan (satellite) camp in Pearl," said Latham. "I was supposed to go to the Ole Miss camp but I didn't get to attend it."

Three schools are showing the most interest in him at this stage of his recruitment.

"I am receiving interest from Louisiana-Lafayette, Mississippi State and a little from Ole Miss," said Latham. "Mississippi State has offered. The thing I like about them is they are not too far from home."
