McMath came to the Mississippi State camp to show the coaches why they were correct in extending him an offer.
"Mississippi State is one of my top schools and I have an offer from them," said McMath, who claims 20 offers. "I wanted to show them how I could do."
And McMath feels like he did really well during the camp.
"I thought I did good," said McMath, who measured in at 6-foot-3, 208. "I caught all of my balls in 1-on-1s and got separation, did good during the drills, ran my routes crisp."
His position coach at the camp was also impressed with what he saw.
"(Wide receivers) Coach (Billy) Gonzales said I did good," said McMath. "He said I did everything good. He also told me what I needed to touch up on."
Although he hasn't narrowed his recruiting list down, Mississippi State is definitely high on his list.
"I haven't narrowed it down yet but Mississippi State is one of my top schools," said McMath. "When I did my Junior Day here I liked it when I went on the tour. They treated me like I'm coming here already. I watched the team practice. They throw a quick game and the deep ball. I'm good with all of it. And they told me that they would find a way to give me the ball and that they want me to play as soon as I get here."
McMath continues to camp for additional offers.
"I have gone to camps at Alabama, Auburn, LSU and Mississippi State," said McMath. "In July I will be going to some camps in Florida, Florida Gators and Florida State Seminoles."
