Rockette explained why he chose to attend the Mississippi State football camp.
"I really want to go to as many SEC schools as I can because I want to stay in the SEC if I can," said the talented defensive back. "That is really why I came to the camp."
He enjoyed the camp experience.
"I liked this camp," said Rockette, who was clocked at 4.4 in the forty. "The stuff we did at the camp was hard and I like that. Nothing is given to you. And I like the work."
He has already been to another in-state school camp and plans on attending a couple of more camps this summer.
"I have been to the Ole Miss camp," said the 5-foot-11, 167-pounder. "And I am going to try to go to the Alabama camp. I also plan on going to Auburn's camp."
Rockette is receiving recruiting interest from at least four schools.
"Tulane came to our athletic facility and said they were interested in me," said Rockette. "Ole Miss offered me. Alabama (direct messaged) me and asked me to come to their camp. And Mississippi State is now interested in me."
He was very happy about his first offer, especially due to it being an SEC school.
"I received the offer from Ole Miss last Wednesday," said Rockette. "With my first offer being an SEC school, I felt blessed."
