"I came to have fun, enjoy the players and meet some of the new players that I haven't met yet," said Hill. "Overall, I had a good time."
Several other Mississippi State commitments attended the camp. Hill made a point of getting to know each of them.
"I got a chance to catch up with some of the commits that were at the camp," said Hill.
He even built up some chemistry with one of the commitments.
"I got to meet the quarterback who is committed to Mississippi State (Keytaon Thompson)." said Hill. "We paired up, he threw the ball and we built some chemistry."
One highlight of the camp was the time he spent with his future position coach, Mississippi State running backs coach Greg Knox.
"I was with Coach Knox the majority of the day," said Hill. "We went over game film and he showed me what to expect when I get (to Mississippi State)."
He also helped recruit for Mississippi State while at the camp.
"I talked to some of the guys that Mississippi State is recruiting," said Hill. "(One of them) the freshman from Northwest Rankin (Jarian Williams) has an offer. He was, basically, telling me that Mississippi State feels like home and he was thinking about committing but I don't really know."
