Highlights of Kemper County big man in action.

There was football on the Mississippi State campus this weekend. No, the Bulldogs were not playing, but several area high school programs were taking part in their pre-season jamboree at Davis Wade Stadium. One of the more impressive showings on Saturday came from Kemper County High School. Offensive tackle, John Dale, did his best to pave the way to victory.

John Dale was a Mississippi State junior day attendee. Dale, however, did not attend any of the Bulldogs' summer camp sessions. On Saturday, Dale did a nice job of showing what he could do. The  6-6, 300-pounder looked to be in better physical shape than when he took the junior day tour back in February. Dale plays a very physical brand of football and did his best to get his man on the ground just about every time the opportunity presented itself.

Dale shows improved footwork over his published junior highlight film. Lining up right tackle appears to suit Dale and his skill set. He shows some real ability as a pass blocker and works hard to get to the second level on running plays. A greater commitment to the weight room could certainly open some doors for the rising senior, but it is clear that Dale has worked hard to prepare for his senior season.
