Coach Still Settling on Starters and Rotations Ahead of Opening Day

Oh, he surely knows already. If not, Bulldog fans would find it easy to do the job for the coach. But Billy Gonzales intends to play preseason straight-up and let his wide receivers determine who starts and who subs on opening day.

Gonzales said Monday he'll get to the weekend and go through final evaluations and gradings of how Mississippi State receivers have performed through August work. Catches vs. drops, well-run routes vs. blown blocks, everything will get tallied and judged.

For that matter, Gonzales has also complicated his own task in practices by giving most of his wideout corps snaps at different positions, as he explains in this video interview.
