Offensively, Jeffries is trying to be very balanced.
"I try to balance my offensive game, score inside, score outside," said the 5-star forward.
He is also trying to be a leader on the team.
"This year my coach has told me that I need to lead the team, so, when I see us down that is what I try to do," said Jeffries.
Recruiting-wise, Jeffries has already received numerous scholarship offers.
"I have offers from Kentucky, Kansas, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Memphis, Texas A&M, Wake Forest, Ohio State, that is all that I know about," said Jeffries.
He feels very humble to have already received so many offers.
"It feels good to have the offers but I try to stay humble so it doesn't get into my head," said the talented forward.
He is not letting the recruiting attention become an obstacle.
"Right now, I am just focusing on my (high) school," said Jeffries, who has only taken one unofficial visit, that to Ole Miss. "Later on, I will look into the (colleges) and see what is best for me."
