Thomason High School (GA) four star corner Christian Tutt is making the travel rounds this spring as he looks to narrow his list of suitors. With a pre-summer decision pending, Tutt is eager to learn all he can about the schools at the top of his list.

Over the weekend, Christian Tutt had the chance to spend some time on the campuses of Alabama and Mississippi State. The Bulldogs were able to roll the Maroon carpet out for the scout National 300 member to begin the weekend..

"I had never been to Mississippi State before." Tutt shared. "I had a good time. I really like all of the coaches and I liked the campus. It's in a smaller college town, but they have a great atmosphere. It feels like they have a strong community there that is all about the school."

Tutt was able to spend some time with the coaches in Starkville that are a big part of the Bulldogs' courtship of the 5-11, 185 pound corner.

"I get to spend a lot of time talking with Coach (Dan) Mullen and I got to talk some with Coach (Terrell) Buckley," Tutt said. "Coach Mullen was telling me all about their program and about how they would love to have me there."

Once the visit to Mississippi State was done, Tutt made the drive east on Highway 82 to Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The trip to visit the Tide provided Tutt the chance to reconnect with a coach who has been in a central figure in his recruitment since the beginning of his high school career.

"Coach (Jeremy) Pruitt was the first coach to ever offer me," Tutt said of the Alabama defensive coordinator. "He offered me back when I was in the 9th grade and that really got me started. I have a great relationship with him and I have a lot of respect for him."

In addition to seeing a familiar face, Tutt was able to see the Tide in action and get a feel for the lay of the land at the University of Alabama.

"Things went great at Alabama," Tutt said. "I got to watch them practice and I got to talk with the coaches and see some of the facilities. It was a great visit and they have a good vibe there."

With his eyes on an early decision, Tutt explains that all of the school currently recruiting him remain in contention for his signing day signature.

"Right now, I have everybody even," Tutt said. "I am still thinking about all of my offers and keeping my options open. I am planning on making my commitment pretty soon. I am going to announce my decision on May 30th.

"My brother died last summer and May 30th is his birthday. I want to announce my decision then, because that day is special to me and my family."

Tutt's offer sheet is a virtual who's who of college football. Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, Florida State, LSU, Notre Dame, Ohio State and many others have extended offers.
