On May 1st, Stewart added offers from Alabama, Illinois and Western Kentucky. He has also added two more May 2nd, Louisiana Tech and South Alabama. Stewart earned the offers after an excellent AAU evaluation period while playing AAU ball with MEBO Team Hood on the Nike EYBL circuit. He averaged 11.2 points per game, which was third on his team.

In addition to those five offers, he already had offers from five others. And a couple of other schools are talking a possible offer.

"I have offers from the University of North Alabama, UAB, Middle Tennessee, Troy and Southern Miss," said Stewart. "Mississippi State and Ole Miss have talked to me about offering. They said they are going to follow me around the whole summer (at AAU events)".

Stewart has been working hard to improve his game. Obviously, with the new offers, his hard work is paying off.

"I have been working on my handles and my shot," said Stewart. "I am mostly working on my right hand because I want to get both hands on the same page. I also want to be a knock down shooter. I also am working on taking people off the dribble."

Stewart has plans on camping at several colleges this summer, including one school that he expects to camp at twice.

"I plan on going to some college camps this summer," said Stewart. "I plan on going back to the individual camp at Mississippi State. I went there last year. And we are going to the team camp there as well."

He has formed a good relationship with the coach recruiting him for Mississippi State, George Brooks.

"I am being recruited by George Brooks," said Stewart. "He is a good guy. When I go to camps there he is always there. We have built a good relationship."

Stewart has started for his Riverside High School team since he was an 8th grader. This past season, he scored 18.9 points per game while hauling down 9.7 rebounds and helping his team to a 17-12 record.
