High School - Perfect Game has him among their top 500 players in the class of 2017. He was a 2017 Rawlings-Perfect Game Preseason Honorable Mention All-American. He was also a Perfect Game 2016 Preseason Underclass High Honorable Mention All-American.

2017 Season - This season, Jordan hit .406 with 12 doubles, 8 home runs and knocked in 29 runs. He walked 34 times while striking out 15. He also stole 25 bases.

Recruiting - He chose Mississippi State over Auburn and Georgia Tech.
