St. Andrews head basketball coach Brian Cronin described Wade's game.
"I like his motor," said Cronin. "He has high energy, which I don't think he had last year. He is getting more mature. I also like his athletic ability. He has also improved his outside shot and his ball-handling. Being 6-foot-6, he can cover a lot of ground."
Wade went into additional detail about his overall game.
"Offensively, I feel that I am at my best when I attack the basket," said Wade. "My mid-range shot is probably one of my strongest points of my game. I feel my three-point shot is not as strong as other parts of my game but it is coming along.
"Defensively, I am still improving on that. Being able to guard quicker players is one of my main goals."
He also wants to be more of a leader this year since he is now a senior on the team.
"One of my goals is to be a leader on my team," said Wade. "I want to give positive reinforcement toward my teammates."
A great student, Wade is hearing from several schools including a couple of Ivy League colleges.
"I am being recruited by Santa Clara, Rice, Columbia, Samford, Southeastern Louisiana and Cornell," said Wade."Mississippi State is also showing interest in me."
He has family connections to Mississippi State, a place where he would like to play.
"I would like to play at Mississippi State because I have a lot of family ties to Mississippi State," said Wade. "My cousin, Jalen Courtney, is the (men's basketball) video coordinator at Mississippi State."
