The long, rangy 6-foot-5, 208-pound wideout looked great in drills, and really shined in the one-on-one drills. After winning rep after rep, Tate described how he thought he performed.

"It was a great camp today. I ran a good forty time, my best being a 4.61. I also feel like I did great in one-on-ones," Tate said. "I won most of my reps, but most importantly I felt like I got good work today, learned a few things and became a better player."

As mentioned above, Tate is currently committed to Memphis. Although he has four other offers, Tate maintains he is 100 percent committed to Memphis. Even with the firm commitment, Mississippi State coaches are still keeping a close eye on the intriguing wideout from New Hope High School in Columbus, Mississippi.

"Right now, I have five offers from Memphis, South Alabama, Tulane, Jackson State and Louisiana Tech. I am 100 percent committed to Memphis though," Tate stated. "Even with my commitment, Mississippi State coaches still hit me up a lot. They tell me they really love how I can run any route. I think they will eventually extend me an offer. I have just got to keep working to become a better player day in and out."

Soon after leaving the Mississippi State camp, Tate made his way back to the campus of Memphis to attend the mega camp this past Sunday. After the visit, Tate stated there is not much left on slate as far as visits.

"I feel like I did great at Memphis' mega camp this past Sunday. I got some good work and had a great time chatting with Memphis coaches again. It was great experience overall," Tate said. "As far as remaining visits or camps, I plan on attending the southern elite top 150 camp. Other than that, nothing is planned as of now."
