Daniels recently received an offer from Mississippi State. He explained what they like about him.
"They told me they like how I play, not giving up, that I am long and that I have quick feet," said Daniels, who received his offer from Mississippi State April 8th. "They also like how I like to use my hands a lot because they are so big. They are perfect for jamming a receiver."
He is very impressed with what he has seen from Mississippi State.
"I like how they treat me like family," said Daniels. "And I love Starkville because it feels like home. Everybody knows each other. I like it because you can just play football. You don't have to worry about anything else getting in the way."
Due to the offer, he decided to attend a recent Mississippi State camp.
"I wanted to come to this camp so I could learn from Coach Buck," said Daniels, referring to MSU cornerbacks coach Terrell Buckley. "He wanted to teach me some things."
Daniels enjoyed his time under the guidance of Buckley.
"I learned a lot of footwork from him," said Daniels. "I can go home and continue working on it."
He also enjoyed how competitive the camp was.
"This camp was really competitive," said Daniels. "And I love to compete, so it was fun to me."
Although he won most of his one-on-one battles, he did get beat a couple of times. But he learned from those.
"I did get beat a couple of times but I learned from that," said Daniels. "I learned what not to do and what to do against certain receivers."
