Nicholas Turner interview.

You had a lot of momentun in the first quarter of the LSU game. Is that how you guys need to play to win games?
"Yeah, we keep that momentum going on through the first, second, third and fourth quarters, we will be a real good football team. You play the whole 60 minutes, things will go your way. That's football anyway; 60 minutes, college and pro."

Coach Sherrill feels you never recovered from the fumble in the first quarter because of your youth. Was that the case?
"No, I don't know what happened, really. I just didn't really have the ball, but that's football. The game didn't stop then. We still continued playing. Things don't always go your way."

You answered a question in a Reflector article by stating that, to be a good football team, you have to lose. What did you mean by that?
"What I meant is when you have the losing feeling, there is no player that wants that feeling. You want the winning feeling instead of losing all the time. You don't want that sour taste in your mouth. I don't want to feel that again. With losing, you can't be anything but down. When you are winning, everything is going better, everything is falling into place; school, life, everything. Losing brings everything down."
