Talk about going against LSU's Stephen Peterman, a player MSU coach Jackie Sherrill said he hasn't seen dominated all year but one that he said you dominated early in the game.
"There had been talk all week, after watching film, that he dominated pretty good. He is an All-American guard but I don't worry about any of that. I just went out and did what I had to do. I just dominated all that I had to. He didn't look like an All-American to me."
Did you feel pretty good about yourself after you saw that you could beat him?
"Yeah, I felt pretty good. If he is an All-American, then I should be All-American."
Did you beat him throughout the game or was it just early and he adjusted as the game went on?
"I did good against him. There were times that I might have got out of my gap. It wasn't because of him. It was because of me. He was an alright guard, but I did good against him."
Was he the best that you faced this year?
"No, Oregon was better. He was alright, but I haven't really faced any real hard competition this year."
