The touchdown pass in the endzone was ruled out of bounds. Did you feel you caught the ball inbounds?
"Yeah, I felt that I had my foot in. I was kind of adjust while I was in the air to see where I was. I felt like I was in. I thought I was in. The thing about it is we came back and scored more points."
What was the feeling after the 14-0 start since you hadn't felt that all year long?
"It was a great feeling. Just going out there and let the other team know we are for real was great. To come out and do that gave us more confidence as a team."
It looked like, near the end of the game, you were about to give them the knockout punch, but they came wouldn't go away.
"Yeah, they just wouldn't go away. When we fumbled, there was a different feeling on the sidelines. We hung our heads down the past couple of games, but today everybody had confidence that our defense could stop them. And that is what they did and we got the win."
Talk about the crowd.
"It wasn't a packed house but at the same time we are grateful for the people that were here today. We gave them something to look forward to."
What do it do for an offense to have a weapon like kicker Brent Smith?
"It means a great deal because you know you don't have to score touchdown everytime. You want to but that is impossible, so, when you have a kicker like Brent, it gives us a lot of confidence. We know when we get within field goal range, he can make them. And he did today."
You had a great balance of pass and run today.
"Today, we showed a balance attack. Jerious and Nick ran the ball exceptionally well. We also came back with a play-action pass. It gave us a lot of confidence. (Offensive coordinator) Coach Watts did a great job of mixing it up."
