ONE OF NATION'S TOP KICKERS TO VISIT MSU
Brookstone HS (Columbus, GA.) kicker David Jordan (6-foot-4, 190) will be officially visiting Mississippi State this weekend. David, who, according to his coach,Steve Sparks, has offers from Georgia Tech and Mississippi State and soon from Georgia, went to MSU, Georgia Tech and Georgia's summer camps this past summer. PrepStar has David listed as one of their top two kickers in the nation in their pre-season magazine. A starter since his freshman year, he has made 18 field goals (5-of-6 this year.) with a long of 52 yards, and 70 extra points (70-of-81) during his career. According to Coach Sparks, he has attempted a 60-yarder in a game on a rainy night but it came up three yards short. Coach Sparks also said that David, an All-Region selection his first three years, "has kicked all of his kickoffs into the end zone except for one and it landed on the half-yard line. I have not seen a kicker quite like David."
