How was your visit to Mississippi State?
"It was nice. I got to meet a lot of the players and the coaching staff."
You mentioned coaching staff. Was that the first time you have met Coach Croom? If so, what did you think about him?
"That was the first time I had seen him in person. My parents and me talked to him. He seemed real down to earth."
What were some things he said about you as a player?
"At first, when I got there, they talked about how I kept watching my little sister who I took down there with me. That let them know that I was a good person. They said they liked me as a player. They said they were looking for some new DBs and that they are looking for some bigger ones. They said they saw that in me."
I know we have talked in the past about you being recruited as a wide receiver/defensive back but it sounds like they are recruiting you as a defensive back.
"I think they are talking about moving me to safety."
Do you have any other visits scheduled?
"I may take another (unofficial) visit to State."
They must have really impressed you. What was it about the visit that made such an impression on you?
"It was just the players, how they took the recruits in. There were about 10 recruits and all the nights we were up there we all got together and they showed us around the town. We joked with the coaches. I can see myself playing for somebody like that."
It almost sounds like it was a family type atmosphere there.
"That's the main thing Coach Croom talked about, Mississippi State being a people's university. I saw what he was talking about."
Did you commit to them?
"I didn't commit, but that looks like where I am going to be on signing day."
