Was there any one thing that sold you on Mississippi State?
"After I met the coaching staff and some of the players, I realized it was a really great place. Everybody felt like family and got along with each other. The coaches seemed like great men."
When do you expect to report to Mississippi State, the summer or the fall?
"The first semester in the summer. I want to get down there and learn the system."
What do you think will be the biggest adjustment between junior college and SEC football?
"Probably the competition and the fan support. In junior college you have fans but it's not like division one ball."
Was there any one humorous or unusual thing that happened during your recruitment?
"Being in an SEC locker room for the first time and seeing my name up like I was playing, that kind of sent chills through my body. I liked that."
What are your hobbies?
"I hang out and play basketball and baseball during my free time."
Who has been the most influential person in your life? If more than one, you can mention them all.
"My whole family from my mom to my sister and her boyfriend. Everybody had played their own role and have kept me straight, kept me on the right track."
What schools did you official visit and who were some you turned down that wanted you to visit?
"UAB, East Carolina and Mississippi State. I didn't visit North Carolina."
What schools offered scholarships?
"UAB, East Carolina and Mississippi State."
Has the internet been a source of information for you during your recruitment?
"I checked JC.com. They had me getting recruited by every SEC school. Some of them (SEC schools) came on, backed off, then came back on, then backed off. You know how that recruiting thing goes (with junior colleges), they come in and get what they need because you only have two years left."
