MSU STUDENTS, RICK'S ROWDIES WANT YOU!

Are you a student at MSU? Do you love MSU sports, especially MSU basketball? Do you want to sit with fellow MSU students who feel the same as you do about MSU basketball? Do you want to help bring back that Final Four atmosphere to the Hump? Do you want some of the best seats in the Hump? Then Rick's Rowdies, an MSU basketball student support group, wants you. Read on.

Attention MSU Students:

MSU is organizing a new basketball support group called Rick's Rowdies (named after head basketball coach Rick Stansbury). There are many advantages to becoming involved with this group. You get to sit in some of the best seats in the house because the gray seats in front of the student section will be reserved for the Rowdies. As the organization expands, more seats will be reserved. Also, included in membership is a free Rick's Rowdies T-Shirt, as well as food after many games (Sunday night it was Papa John's pizza). The only stipulations are that you must be at the games as early as possible and you must attend a certain number of games in order to keep your membership privileges. The gates open about an hour and a half before game time and there will be an organizational meeting at this time in order to prepare for the upcoming game. Stat sheets of the opposing team will be handed out as well as practicing and reviewing of cheers to be used during the game. Membership is open to all MSU students for the next few games but will eventually be cut off. We are extremely confident that this organization will grow considerably in the next few weeks and that the energy that we provide will help bring back the strong home court advantage that has greatly helped the Bulldogs in the past. We encourage all of you who are interested or who would like additional information to contact any of the people listed below as soon as possible. Thank you for your time.
