Georgia FB Gets 1st SEC Offer

Brandon Hart is a punishing fullback that has gotten his first SEC offer with possibly more on the way.

Troup County's Brandon Hart has received his first scholarship offer. Sylvester Croom's Mississippi State Bulldogs were the first team to pull the trigger on Hart.

"I am being recruited by a lot of schools but, I feel, Florida, South Carolina and Troy State are close to offering right now."

Brandon says "it feels pretty good" to receive that first offer. It will be the first of many. Brandon also plays middle linebacker for the Tigers where he tallied 158 total tackles last season.

"I didn't start playing fullback until midway through the season last year. I ran for over 500 yards on 73 carries and had 8 touchdowns. My goals for this year is just to better those stats and win the state championship."

When asked about his strengths and weaknesses, Hart had this to say..."my strengths are staying focused, running hard and practicing with intensity. Not many weakness. I just wanted to get faster and work on my quickness".

Along with working on his weaknesses this summer, Brandon also plans to camp at Florida, Georgia and Mississippi State. "Tennessee and South Carolina are also possibilities" Hart says.

"My top schools right now are Mississippi State, Georgia, Florida and South Carolina." Hart did not name a leader, but he did add this..."I did grow up a Georgia fan and am looking forward to attending their camp".

What will Brandon be looking for when deciding on his choice of school? "The school's scheme and making sure I fit into the team on and off the field."

Brandon Hart is in good shape academically. He has a 3.5 GPA and plans to take both the SAT and ACT in June.
