In fact, during May, he received numerous recruiting calls from Southeastern Conference, Atlantic Coast Conference and Conference-USA schools.
With the college football camp season hot and heavy in June and July, Andrew has already attended three camps with a couple more to go.
"I've attended Ole Miss, Clemson and Alabama," said Andrew. "The ones that I have left are Auburn and Mississippi State."
While at the camps, several coaches pulled him off to the side and talked to him about his strong points.
"At Clemson, Dabo Swinney told me that he liked my footwork and that I have good size," said Andrew. "He told me to keep working hard. He said Clemson is looking for guys my size. At Ole Miss, Coach Hobby said I am very quick and that I have good speed."
Although he didn't attend their camp, Arkansas assistant coach Tracy Rocker came by his school in May and came away impressed.
"Arkansas (assistant) coach Rocker came to our field house and watched some of my tape and told my coach he was very impressed with my pass-protection," said Andrew.
When asked what schools he is most interested in, Andrew, who you can tell is recruiting savy, listed the schools that are showing the most interest in him.
"I would say Mississippi State, Auburn, Clemson, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Louisville and Southern Miss are my favorites," said Andrew.
Look for additional updates on Andrew later this summer after he has attended the camps at Mississippi State and Auburn.
