How much do you weigh?
"I'm up to 200."
What do you want to weigh?
Did you keep your speed after gaining weight?
Your position coach, Ellis Johnson, said you were injured in the spring. What was your injury?
"I had a high ankle sprain."
How's it doing?
"It is a whole lot better. It used to bother me but it doesn't now."
Coach Johnson was really impressed with how well you played in the spring before your injury. Did you realize you were doing so well?
"I think I was doing pretty good, but I still have things I need to improve."
You were at State for the first summer session. Do you expect the workouts to be different the second session?
"We'll probably pick up the tempo because there are more guys now. As far as drills, we'll probably do the same things but pick up the tempo."
Which do you feel most comfortable playing, free or strong safety?
"I feel more comfortable at free, but I can play strong."
Sophomore FB Bryson Davis
How tall are you and how much do you weigh?
"I'm about 6-1.5 and 255."
255 is a lot for a fullback. Do want to stay the same or lose weight?
"(The coaches) want me to be 245. But like I said earlier, I haven't been able to do the running and agility drills. I'll get it off eventually."
What is your body fat percentage?
"The last time we checked it, I was 14%."
Have you gained or lost weight since then?
"I probably stayed the same, but I haven't been able to do all the agility drills because I had surgery on my shoulder."
How is your shoulder doing?
"I'm doing fine. I'm rehabing pretty good. I would say I'm 70% right now. I hope to be ready by the season."
What do you want to accomplish the rest of the summer?
"Rehab and get my weight down."
What does you coach expect from you this season?
"He wants me to get my pad level down. That's my biggest problem right now. He said once I do that, that will open a lot of doors for me."
Sophomore DB Quinton Culberson
How's your rehab going?
"I should be between 95% and 100% by the time the season starts. I'm close to 90% right now. I feel pretty good. I can break and cut on (my leg) without any problems."
You weren't at State during the first session. What were you doing?
"I worked out with my own trainer in Jackson. I lost a couple of pounds."
How much do you weigh now?
"I was up to 225 but I've dropped down to 212."
What do the coaches want you to weigh?
"Less than 215."
What are you expectations this coming season?
"My expectations are to play within the team and do a great job team-wise."

What's your height and weight?
"6-3.5 and 210."
"Do the coaches want you to increase or decrease your weight?"
"They want me to stay what I am."
You weren't at State during the first summer session. What were you doing?
"I was working and working out."
Are you ready for what is in store for you during the second summer session?
"I've been running but I don't think I have been doing exactly what they have been doing."
What are your individual hopes this coming season?
"I hope to get on the field, make plays and get some experience. I also hope to help the team by coming in and being a key player."
