Deljuan said school is going well and he has no favorite subjects although his least favorite is math.
As for football, Deljuan said he plays inside linebacker on the defense and some tight end on the offense. But if he were given his preference, he would like to play inside linebacker.
Though he is not sure of his personal statistics on the year, he knows that he had over 100 tackles last year.
Deljuan said he is really looking forward to enjoying the college experience.
Deljuan mentioned that all of the SEC schools have offered him, but that he is primarily interested in Tennessee, Auburn, Georgia, LSU and MSU (this is the order given to me). He also has heard from Southern Miss and Northe Carolina State, among others, and will set up visits after the season is over.
As for his schools of choice, he said he has isolated Tennessee because of its tradition. Also, Auburn bodes well because of the many young players on its roster. And to sum things up, Deljuan had this to say, "all those schools play good football and I just like the way the SEC is and the way they play football."
Deljuan feels that if it is determined that he is ready his first year he would like to play, but if not, he could live with it.
He said he is still open as to his five choices.
Since the Hernando team took it on the chin last Friday night losing to the Darren William led Clarksdale team 24-14 in the North 4A Finals, Deljuan can now turn his full attention to the recruiting process.
